My First Week of High School
First Day of School
Excitement: I was filled with excitement and nervousness as I walked into the high school on the first day of school. The hallways were crowded with students and I felt like a small fish in a big pond.
Meeting New People
New Friends: Throughout the first week, I met so many new people. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, which made the transition to high school easier. I even made a few new friends that I hope to stay close with throughout my high school career.
First Impressions: My initial thoughts on my classes were that they were going to be very challenging. The workload was much more than what I was used to in middle school. My teachers were also much stricter, but I knew that they were going to prepare me for the future.
Adjusting to High School
Time Management: One of the biggest challenges of high school was learning how to manage my time. With more homework and more responsibilities, I had to learn how to balance my schoolwork and extracurricular activities. It took some time, but I eventually found a routine that worked for me.
Overall, my first week of high school was filled with excitement, challenges, and new experiences. I’m looking forward to what the rest of high school has in store for me.
