My Experience in Writing the Third Unit Composition in Grade One

Brainstorming Ideas

As an eighth-grader, I found it challenging to write a compelling composition. However, I think the brainstorming process is crucial. I started by jotting down relevant ideas and keywords on a piece of paper, followed by grouping them into categories.

Composing Process

After selecting a particular topic, I began composing. It is essential to have an outline that guides the structure of the composition. I created an outline in which I listed the introduction, body, and conclusion. For every section, I wrote down significant ideas and related them to the topic sentence.

Editing and Polishing

Editing and polishing were the final steps before submitting the composition. I read my composition multiple times, searching for errors, such as grammar and punctuation mistakes. I also considered the flow and coherence of my ideas and made sure they were connected and easy to follow. To complete the process, I asked for feedback from my teacher and classmates, making necessary revisions based on their suggestions.

In conclusion, writing a composition requires a systematic process, starting from brainstorming ideas, composing, editing, and polishing. It is essential to have a clear plan and follow it accordingly. By doing so, it becomes easy to write a compelling and coherent composition.
